Sea Otter Inn

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN CAMBRIA! Love everything about this place and this town. They have suites that sleep 6 ppl. We has a sisters trip and got the room on the water side with a deck and chairs that face the ocean. Service is amazing we called on an issue with fireplace and they responded within minutes. THIS IS A MUST!!!

I met family to spend time near the ocean. The Sea Otter Inn provided a roomy space with a lovely patio in an outstanding location for sunsets and beach walks. The basket breakfast got us off to a great start each day and availability for coffee, tea, and cocoa was appreciated. The staff is not overly friendly or welcoming but they are efficient.

10/10 for having a mini -spilt ac .. great check in and close to beach. The room is nothing fancy, but very nice. Parking right outside your room for offloading bags.. Custom breakfast delivered to your room, that’s hard to beat.

My friend and I wanted an easy get away -far enough away from home to feel we got a break but close enough that we didn’t need to spend a lot of time and money to get away! Cambria was the perfect destination and SeaOtter Inn was the ideal location! We went wine tasting, dinner at Moonstone Restaurant and sat by the fire pits at Sea Otter all on the first afternoon/evening. Second day, we woke up to a delicious breakfast at our door and then managed to get a walk in on the boardwalk/beach before the rain started. But I love being by the coast when it gets stormy so that was just fine with me! Walked around town and did some fun shopping between raindrops, followed by a delicious lunch at Linns Restaurant. A little more shopping then back to our room at the hotel for some relaxation and to enjoy the sounds of the crashing waves and the warmth of our little fireplace! Dinner at La Cambritas and back to our room to relax by the fireplace on our comfy beds. Another delicious breakfast basket this am, some yummy cookies to take with us and time to head back to reality at home! Thanks SeaOtter! The staff was welcoming and helpful with our needs, the room accommodations cozy and the proximity to the ocean and boardwalk refreshing! We’ll be back!

My Wife and I have been staying at the Sea Otter, once or twice a year for the past eight years or so and will continue to do so. This visit we were disappointed to learn that the pool and jacuzzi were closed. If would have been helpful to know this before we arrived. Our last visit was March of 25 and in that 10months we noticed significant changes the shower was showing mold and loose screws, the bed made with two flat sheets that didn't fit the bed requiring it to be remade every morning which wasn't a problem. I know that given our economic times things have changed. All of the staff are as pleasant as always and the cookies are still the best. If you want nice quiet pleasant surroundings great views the Sea Otter is the place for you. Anyone traveling to Cambria for the first time I would highly recommend the Sea Otter. We'll be back in the Fall.

Second time at the Sea Otter Inn. We love the location, right across from the boardwalk and the ocean. We enjoy the morning breakfast delivery to our room, and the easy walk to two great restaurants. The only issue with our stay this time was that we were not informed that the pool and hot tub were closed. It was fine but, if you really had your heart set on this activity, you would have been sorely disappointed. Would recommend

First time staying over at Sea Otter Inn for a mini trip. I love the location how it's right by the ocean and can see the beautiful view from the hotel. You have easy access to walking on the boardwalk to view the ocean and get some fresh air. Plus plenty of photos to take. There are nearby restaurants you can go to which I took advantage of. You can walk to them if you like on a nice day. The hotel room was nice and clean. Very cozy and safe with a fireplace that was very nice during this cold season. I love the sea otter vibe they have to the room. The service every morning for breakfast was cute because you would get your meal delivered to your front door in a basket! Very clever idea. And the staff are friendly and always there to help. Plus its quite at night and you can enjoy hearing the ocean waves to help sleep. I will definitely come back to this place in the future.

We stayed at the Sea Otter Inn, located right across the street from the Moonstone Beach boardwalk and beach was just as described and a great place to stay. We had the King suite, as we were 2 couples. One bedroom had an ocean view with a small patio area and a great view of the ocean. The room itself was large, clean, and with everything we needed and a bathroom. The other bedroom was large and had a separate bathroom with another side patio. The location was great due to close proximity to the beach and just a few minutes to the cute town of Cambria. We were there for the annual Christmas Market at the Cambria Pines Inn and the shuttle picked us up right at the Sea Otter Inn. The continental breakfast in the morning was just perfect for our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
